Executive Summary

'How long does a degree actually take here?' is one of those institutional questions everyone asks and no single table answers. I built a Time to Completion dashboard that turns student completion timelines into a form leadership and program stakeholders can interrogate directly — designed around the questions asked in program review, not around the shape of the source data.

Approach

  • Worked with stakeholders to define completion-time measures that match how the institution actually talks about student progress.
  • Designed the dashboard for comparison — across programs and student populations — while keeping small-group figures appropriately caveated.
  • Presented the dashboard to institutional stakeholders and iterated on what they actually clicked, asked, and misread.

Skills Demonstrated

  • Dashboard design for institutional analytics
  • Measure definition with non-technical stakeholders
  • Presentation and iteration based on real usage
